Data Retention & Account Deletion Policy

Your vault is designed to outlast you. This policy explains how long we retain your data and how you or your designated trusted contacts may permanently delete it.

1. Active Accounts

While your membership is active, your data is retained indefinitely and preserved across redundant, versioned storage.

2. Cancellation

On cancellation you may export your entire vault at any time. Data is retained for 30 days after cancellation to allow reactivation, then permanently purged unless you request immediate deletion.

3. Trusted Contact Handoff

Where you have configured trusted contacts through the Digital Will module, your vault transitions to those beneficiaries under the conditions you set — it is not deleted on your passing unless you have instructed otherwise.

4. Right to Erasure

You may request permanent deletion of your account and all associated content at any time by writing to info@myaeternalegacy.com. Deletion is completed within 30 days of verified request.
